You tell it where you are, roughly what you want to spend, and the kind of night you are after; it returns three ideas at a time, built around real venues and events near you. funkedate.com publishes those ideas as browsable city pages. They come from funke itself rather than from a generic listicle — many were generated by the app for a real couple in that city, with anything personal stripped out before publication, and the rest are funke's own picks for cities the app is still filling in.
